Well all is finally quiet in our household and after a very busy last couple of weeks it is nice to be sitting here in the quiet of the night.
After dinner we watched a Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer DVD together and I particulary liked the way it pointed out that everybody is unique in their own special way, we then put out food and water for Santa and the Reindeers. After that it was goodnight kisses and hugs, hanging up the Santa Bag and off to bed to read our special book mummy made this year especially for Jordan to read on Christmas Eve of "Twas the Night before Xmas". I really enjoyed making this for Jordan and will add a current photo of us to it yearly. Jordan is quite excited about Xmas this year and told Daddy as he was
laying in bed trying to go to sleep "Santa is on his Way"
Now that all is quiet I have been sitting here reflecting on just how blessed I am and I give thanks for everything we have. I have a wonderful husband and beautiful child whom I love dearly and a great family and look forward to spending Xmas Day with them all.
I especially look forward to spending some quality time with Paul and Jordan over the next couple of days.
