Tanks are full and just can't hold any more water

It seems like such a waste!

This was taken when the rain had more or less stopped,

at one stage the water was gushing out at twice the rate as this

It is amazing how you view rain so differently when you are on tank water!

I grew up living in a house with a flat roof and there was nothing better than falling asleep listening to the rain on the roof whilst I was cozy inside - I have so missed that until now, we have a colorbond roof and once again I can fall asleep listening to the sound of rain on the roof - I just love it!

We had a relatively quiet weekend enjoying the peace, rain and the company of good friends (no photo's because we were too busy catching up!) which was just what was needed in this household.
