BIRTHDAY POEM

I wanted to share the beautiful poem Paul wrote for my birthday.  I believe he really has a gift for writing, and of his poems some are serious, some are hilarious and some are just simply beautiful.  Paul I thank you for my beautiful poem with all my heart.

February 18th, the day you hold dear,
Is here once more, a day for cheer.
A day for celebration, a day for fun,
A day to enjoy with husband and son.

This year this day finds you in the place of your dreams,
Our place in the mountains with glistening streams.
This place we have planned for, for many a year,
And like magic our imaginings have started to appear.
We wake up each morning to Heaven on Earth,
The birds singing "Welcome', Kookaburras laughing with mirth.
The sky shinning blue, the occasional mist,
The grass silently glistening with Gods sweet kiss.

Our son gloriously healthy with eyes so clear,
Cuddled up to you when you wake - a jewel so dear.
His mind so sharp, his will so strong,
All that you prayed for, so passionately and long.

And so you can see how your wishes have come true,
Both large and small have manifested for you.
Your power clearly visible to all who would see
Your gift from yourself, from your Spirit to Thee.

So when things seem tough and you start to feel down,
Remember just to smile, put away that frown.
For your power you can use whenever you choose,
To manifest Joy, and through the World so infuse.
