Easter Moments

We were lucky enough to see 5 of these litte fella's whilst walking through Mary Cairncross Park over the Easter Break.  The highlight being a Mamma and her joey - very special indeed.

Whilst walking back along the track, we came across an Easter Hunt in progression.  Jordan had so much fun just spotting the eggs and then watching the excitement and delight on the children's faces who were participating was priceless.  What was unbelieveable (in my eyes) though was the adults that were not in any way involved in the hunt, who were helping themselves to the eggs.  It was not the children BUT the adults and I find this astounding!  Fortunately there were enough eggs for all the children and did not affect their enjoyment.

Of course Easter just wouldn't be Easter without some chocolate and Easter Bunny was very generous this year, much to Jordan's delight, it was exactly the easter bunny he saw in the shop and wanted !!
before chocolate though comes a good breakfast of nice warm oats
and then comes the eating of "chocolate"

Jordan has also been practicing to light the evening candle so he can be chosen to light the Grade 1 candle at Morning Circle when he goes back to school.

and whilst at a local market we picked up some seedlings to start growing our own vegetables which I am very excited about

lettuce
spinach
more lettuce
snow peas and cauliflower waiting to be planted

Of course it was the perfect time to also catch up with friends we haven't seen for a long time which was most enjoyable.

I hope you all had a safe, fun and enjoyable easter too.
