His Holiness, the fourteenth Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso
What an amazing experience
and although I didn't get up close to His Holiness, I would not have missed it for the world.
I remember years ago when I was travelling and found myself literary 1 ft away from the Pope whilst visiting St Peters Church in Rome. The Pope was taking mass and it was an unforgettable experience and although I am not catholic I very nearly converted my faith. I cannot describe the feeling of being so close to him and the energy/aura that surrounded him.
So being here at Chenrezig was absolutely amazing for me and although I wasn't given the opportunity to get as close to His Holiness as I did with the pope, the energy within the place and surrounding everybody was beautiful and I am so blessed to have heard him speak in person. I tried to tune into and feel his energy and for that moment it was pure joy - I have only felt anything like that once before in my life and it was on meeting my baby boy for the 1st time when I visualised our hearts connected with love.
I was speaking to a father of one of the children at Jordan's school the following day who is a Police Officer and he was lucky enough to be working there and got to shake His Holiness's hand and have a photo taken with him. He was on cloud 9 and I can only imagine just how awesome that would have been. He is one very blessed man!
