THIS IS HORRIFIC

Please join me in signing this petition to ban the cruelty that is being forced upon these animals  It is being presented to the Agriculture Minister tomorrow at 3.00pm so if you would like to add your name, please don't delay.

In just 2 days, over 105,000 Australians have joined our campaign to end live animal exports. If you have seen this shocking footage of how Australian cattle are being treated, you know why.

We've just learned that 3 more boats of cattle are being loaded to depart for Indonesia tomorrow. The animals on those boats are bound for Indonesian slaughterhouses where they will be maimed and tortured before suffering the most painful deaths that the animal welfare movement has ever seen.

What's more, this callous slaughter is carried out in facilities that use equipment paid for by Australian taxpayers and inspected by Australian authorities.

We're delivering the huge national petition to Agriculture Minister Joe Ludwig at 3pm tomorrow. Can you add your name now and forward this to friends and family?

So far, the Government have failed to stop more Australian cattle suffering, despite the shocking footage provided by Animals Australia and shown this week on ABC's Four Corners.

The Minister has committed to banning exports to 11 abattoirs in Indonesia. But that's not nearly enough. There are over 100 slaughterhouses in Indonesia, and only 8 are equipped with the stun technology that is standard here in Australia.

Furthermore, animal welfare experts tell us that this partial ban will be impossible to enforce because of the way cattle exports work.

A huge public outcry right now, while the Government and the public are paying close attention, can ensure that not one more ship loaded with Australian cattle is allowed to leave an Australian port bound for these cruel Indonesian slaughterhouses.
