I can't take credit for this one but it is still in the family!

My dad made it for me and I LOVE it.

OUR WEEK

On a cold rainy afternoon there is nothing better than 

a bowl of HOT rolled oats when you get home from school

Paul & I had no chance at all

 Unlocking the car to drive Jordan to school this morning 

and what should greet me from the roof of the car .....

A few choice words came out of my mouth I can tell you!

Being the brave person I am, we went in the other car!!!

Arriving home to show Paul and although he was nowhere to be found initially,
when we did spot him he was in a better position for PAUL (not me!)
to encourage him OFF my car........
I promptly moved the car so he couldn't come back to visit or take up residence
- I know very UN-neighbourly of me!!!

(I just love my beautiful boy)

Whilst Jordan was busy with his artwork the other day this is what I got up to.

I had so much fun with it and as it turned out it was a real healing process for me.

RAIN RAIN........

School was cancelled yesterday

because.........

somewhere under all that water is the bridge that crosses the creek to get into the school !!

so we took advantage of a wet & dreary day

and painted

1)  Choose an animal you want to draw

2)  Paint a background relevant to where the animal would live

3)  Find a picture of that animal on the computer or in a book

4)  Draw the body of it

5)  Cut out your face from a picture or photo

6)  Attach your face as the head of the animal

7)  Paste it onto your background

8)  Draw or paint any other details

 

and you have your personalised collage

Jordan is a cheetah & I am a wolf!

The background:  grasslands with trees and a waterhole

on a hot sunny day.

Another one he did at school and coloured the whole page with oil pastels

for the background of a dessert
