FAMILY TIME

Well the last week has been quite a week for me. Knowing that Paul will be heading off to the States for 3 months and wanting to spend as much time together as a couple and family whilst also needing to get everything ready to go. The emotions are a little overwhelming at times and I am feeling a little sad and upset but knowing in my heart that this is the right thing for him. There will be plenty of tears at the airport on Tuesday from both of us. All I can say is "THANK YOU SKYPE" as this will be our thread of connection over the coming months. I dont think this trip would be happening at all if not for skype and the video link which allows us to talk and see each other daily. Whilst Mum and Dad kindly looked after Jordan, Paul and I headed out to Mt Macedon with a friend to have a healing session from an amazingly gifted and beautiful person. I feel like I have grown, become clearer, lighter and more spiritual in a matter of minutes, hours, days. It is certainly a wonderful journey both Paul and I are on at the moment and although it really has made us step out of our comfort zones it is one I intend to continue. We also headed off to Warburton again stopping at the great little bakery in Gladysdale for lunch and walking out with just enough room to fit in a "picnic treat" down by the river as per Jordan's request. It was a little colder today but there was no way Jordan was not going in the river, especially as we had come prepared today with swimmers, towell etc (amazing how children just dont feel the cold). Armed with his new river shoes we bought in Phillip Island, climbing on rocks and walking over the pebbles was a breeze.

Jordan took this photo of the ducks who were nice enough to share the river with all the kids ( I admit I have cropped it a little but he got it in focus and took a pretty good shot). It was so peaceful sitting on the bank with Paul watching Jordan playing in the water with the other kids, listening to the laughter and squeals of delight. We really do live a blessed life. After the river we decided to explore the shops in Warburton and found the most amazing little bookshop. We could have spent many more hours and dollars in the shop and will definately be going back there again. Jordan found his own very special "Peter Pan" book which he decided was special enough to buy with his own money and Paul found another book to add to his collection going to the States with him.

The photo's don't really do the book justice but the whole book is full of pop-up pages with incredible details and then within every page of the story are smaller pop-ups. A truly beautiful, special book. We arrived home to the delicious aroma of a roast cooking in the oven which whetted our appetites once again. After dinner and when all was quiet in our household, Paul and I went to the movies to see "7 Pounds". This is a brilliant movie and well worth seeing although don't forget to take the tissues. The type of movie you can take at face value or look at the deeper message and look within. As I said - brilliant !!
