Question: Mum will you knit daddy a wool hat for his head? Its really cold where he is so he needs it to keep him warm!! (I wish I could but I really dont have the time at the moment and I don't think they will let me take knitting needles on the plane - now there would be plenty of time to get a hat knitted, just dont think it will happen - sorry darling)
Instead of a hat, here is a drawing Jordan did for you

and here is the Join the Dots he also drew for you to do
Sometimes I just stop in wonderment and think "What really goes on in that little head". Jordan made his own pendulum (just like mummy's) this morning. He got the strong and tied it onto the ball all by himself then proceeded to ask it if all the presents would be for him on his birthday!!!
Mummy and Jordan's pendulums....... I just love the paper I have photographed them on

After getting a YES for an answer, the Pendulum was hidden in a hidy spot (It had to be a little hole somewhere for some reason only beknown to Jordan) and then it was outside to play with his bow.
Well the bow is another story all on its own. Jordan had a stick that he brought back from the park ages ago and Ba made it into a bow. The stick broke a couple of weeks ago and he was so upset that I tried to fix it by winding cotton around it. Well this "fix" worked for about a week when it broke again. More tears and I tried to fix it again but it really wasn't going to hold, so after a little chat Jordan was happy with the fact that he was probably going to have to go and look for another stick with Ba.
So, the other day Ba and Jordan went for a long walk in the park to find the "perfect stick". All was well as the stick was found and a bow was made. Jordan just loves his Bow and will spend an hour at a time outside playing with his bow. He is a real little Robin Hood at the moment. mmm I wonder if Robin Hood carried a Pendulum around in his pocket.........
......talking about pockets, another "new" little thing that has been happening lately is I am finding stones, sticks and rocks in pockets. I was ironing Jordan's pants the other day and yes there were quite a few, and in every pair of pants or shorts with pockets I found little sticks, stones or rocks. I would be ironing away and come across this bump in the jeans and more stones or rocks would be found. I ended up with quite a little stockpile. I really am going to have to start checking pockets before washing anything with a pocket and it doesn't matter how small the pocket is.
Then today when I picked him up from school, he told me in the car he had a piece of metal in his pocket which he found. Being a little concerned about hearing this, I asked, is it sharp and he replied "of course not" As it turned out it was a big stone that had been stowed away for safe keeping in his "pocket".
