Look what I finally found in the shops whilst browsing without a little boy in tow.......
I am so excited, Paul and I found out about these approx 18mths ago and although we were keeping an eye on if and when somebody would start importing them, we never actually got around to buying them when they did, until today that is!

I really can't wait to try them out and see how well they actually work. There was a powder form of it (didn't know that existed) but I decided to go with what I have heard about. Mike Adams says they are brilliant on his website except for washing towels and sheets as they get caught up in them. Paul and I overcame (in theory) that problem some time ago so it is time to put them and our theories to the test. Will let you know my verdict shortly.
Jordan had his first day back at school today and not a hint of not wanting to go. He rushed off outside to join the other kids in the playground. Other than being a bit concerned when he couldn't find his hat, he was happily playing and enjoying being back.
After school we came home for another swim. Today was hot again so mummy joined Jordan and it was wonderfully refreshing. Jordan has swam in the pool every afternoon bar 1 I think since this hot spell started over a week ago.
After talking to Paul I made the decision that I will not even attemp swimming lessons at the moment. I just don't want to risk some "well meaning" swimming teacher deciding that it is time for Jordan to put his head under the water before he is ready and losing all this newfound confidence he has gained. Instead I will continue the daily swims in the pool and when the weather cools down as it will (we are in Melbourne afterall) I will just transfer the play to the local pool which is 10 mins away and heated.
Today's new skills in the pool were swimming with his chest on the noodles hanging onto my hands. for some extra confidence and then swimming with the noodles all by himself with feet off the bottom and kicking. The strap on his goggles broke so we didnt try putting heads under the water again. He did however play with the hoses in the pool of which 1 has a split and was squirting him in the face and eyes and he loved it - water on the face and all !!
