MIXTURE OF EXCITEMENT, ANTICIPATION AND A LITTLE BIT EMOTIONAL

The last couple of days we have been busy catching up with friends which has been lovely - a nice contrast in relation to being so busy getting ready for our trip. On Sunday we decided on a very impromptu visit down to the Island to visit Craig and Cheryl. I was contemplating a visit to Mt Macedon for a healing but the urge to visit Craig and Cheryl was stronger. We are not going to see them for a month and I just wanted to see them before I left. As it was, Sunday was a very emotional day for Cheryl so I am glad I could help make the day just a little easier for her. Thankyou also to all our friends and family for their best wishes and gifts - Jordan is certainly not going to be bored on this flight to America. A special thankyou to Mum and Dad and to Faye and Ian, we really are blessed to have such loving family and friends. With only 1 sleep to go, tonight has been filled with excitement, anticipation and a little bit emotional. Jordan in all of his 5 years of wisdom........ said Nanny, just believe in your heart I am with you and I will be there for you !!! Although Jordan realises that we will be having a sleep on the plane and it is a very long trip doesnt really understand just how long the trip is or how long we will be in America. Just today I was saying when Daddy comes back to Australia and he replied "You mean we will be a real family of 3 again after America". Yes my darling little boy, we will be a real family of 3 not only when we come back from America but when we get to America...... Last night and this morning were a little stressful with packing but I was soooo much better than I normally am so here I am tonight after having a nice glass of wine relaxing and doing my last blog in Australia for awhile. For those of you who know what I am like with the packing of just going to the yearly Xmas migration (and we had a whole car to fill then) this is amazing for me!!! The past year really has been amazing for our family - there has been a lot of work, tears and fun that has got us all to this point. Tonight is a little bit unreal, it has been 2 months since Paul left for America and realising that tomorrow we will actually be on a plane to go and see him...... I think there is one little boy who is going to take some convincing to actually let go of his daddy when he sees him.
