Friday 20th March - Santa Mararita to Yosemite, California
Although the days have been warm so far the nights are very cold - we are going to have to go and buy some more blankets! This morning we headed back to San Simeon to Hearst Castle as we had been told it was well worth the visit but upon arrival we found out that a tour to the castle would take a couple of hours and decided that we didnt want to see it that much as it would mean we wouldn't get to Yosemite until very late. After a look around and viewing the castle through the telescope we were back on the road. The countryside is absolutely amazing, it went from rolling hills to almost desert like to Rocky Mountains.
