................yes that's right a Bunting for a little boy who has a birthday coming up tomorrow!
I found the Pirate material some time ago and have wanted to make a Bunting with it ever since. I am really excited about it so I hope my little boy loves it as much as me!!
I also found time to go and have a coffee and cake with Paul at this wonderful Chocolate Cafe we found a little while ago. Delicious and you get a free truffle/chocolate with your coffee - mmmm (chocolate not actually in photo because ummm I ate it :-)
Lol i just finished gathering what i had left over from my last bunting project to make some more tonight when the babes go to sleep. Great minds hey?
ReplyDeleteNow all i need is some chocolate...
Happy Birthday to Jordan!!!!! I am sure he will love his bunting. I had so hoped that I would get some made for Harry's birthday too but have given up the thought for now. All the moving and stress has caught up to me so I am having to let some things go. I wish we were there in Oz to celebrate with you guys. We hope you have a lovely 6th birthday Jordan and we are sending you much love.
ReplyDeleteThanks Stacey - can you believe they are both turning 6!!!
ReplyDeleteI had to let go of some things too - I really wanted to make a birthday crown but the bunting came first and the most important thing was him having a great birthday not whether he had a crown or one of the many other things I wanted to make.
We also let go of the birthday party and had a birthday play instead - no prezzies or anything just good old fashioned playtime with birthday cake. So much easier and less stressful and the kids had a great time.
Considering we just introduced the birthday ring it was probably just perfect for him.
What are you doing for Harry's birthday next week?
