A day of celebration
A day of enjoyment
A day to surround ourselves in laughter & joy
and the love that we have for each other
For today there is a birthday
but it is also our last day together
as our little family of 3
Tomorrow Paul leaves on a plane bound for the USA
and although we know it is the right thing to do
my heart is a little heavy
knowing our family will be separated for some time
Last week I was emotional
today it doesn't feel quite real
and yet tomorrow I know
will see tears as I watch my husband walk away
As reality kicks in
deep in my soul I know
it is an exciting journey for us all
but I also know in my heart I will miss him every minute we are apart
so I leave you my dear family and friends
with a photo of the beautiful sunset we watched together the other night
