Merry Christmas

Christmas Lights
(this house was amazing)

The tree is ready and waiting
(Jordan decorated the tree this year, he just needed a little help to put the decorations on the higher branches)

The special Xmas decoration Jordan made is outside so Santa knows where to come

Refreshments laid out ready for Santa

Christmas Eve Reading
(Twas the night before Xmas book mummy made last year)

(and a new being added to the collection -"The Polar Express")

Jordan is fast asleep dreaming of Santa with his PJ's on back-to-front as this makes them special!

The Christmas Carols are on the TV in the background
Xmas drink of Dramboui in hand
and Janine is doing her best to finish a quilt ready for tomorrow morning

I wish you all a very merry and joyus Christmas
and may all your dreams and hopes manifest in abundance in 2010

Hold all that are precious to you close in your heart and let them know just how much they mean to you.

Christmas Pudding time

Its that time of year again.......

The fruit has been soaking for about 6 - 7 weeks and finally today was the day for making Xmas Puddings.

Again it was a loving effort from 3 generations as well as Daddy joining in the efforts this year.
This is a family tradition which was officially handed over to me last Christmas from my mother so in the making of  Traditions, I changed the recipe ever so slightly by eliminating the sugar and substituting with honey.  Next year I will be flying completely solo!

The puddings are a little unusual as the mixture is placed in bottling jars and then they are boiled in the steralizer.  Everyone says how delicious they are and looks forward to the next years bottle although I can't personally verify this as I don't eat Xmas Pudding - too many squishy, squashy things in it for my liking!!

Here Jordan is pictured stirring the mixture after he had sifted the flour and put flour all over me with what ended up on the bench.

Boiling away in the Steralizer

Cooling Down

Ready for Xmas !

One of the bottles didn't seal properly so the majority rule of the house was "EAT" it
and the verdict was delicious.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Jordan actually slept in until 7.00am - can you believe it - well he did come in to our bed early in the morning but there was no mention of Santa and he would have literally fallen over his Santa Sack! We had a fun filled morning opening presents, a Seafood Lunch out by the pool and then a relaxed afternoon with Jordan colouring in and playing with his toys. Craig, Cheryl, Kristy & Kris arrived later in the afternoon with more presents to open before sitting down to a hot dinner. This was the first Christmas in a long time that our whole family has been together and it was really nice. It was also Kristy and Kris's first Christmas together so that was pretty special for them. A HUGE thankyou to my family and friends for their love and generosity - we have such abundance in our lives and I am very grateful for all we have. Jordan on Christmas morning I am feeling very spoilt - Paul and Jordan gave me the Annual Members Swarovski Piece this year with the 2nd baby Panda to match - they are just beautiful and I love them. Xmas Lunch out by the pool and Jordan playing with his new Garage! The beautiful flowers Craig and Cheryl sent Mum and I - thankyou. From Paul, Jordan and myself I wish a Merry Christmas to our family and friends and I send love, happiness and joy on this special day.
