OUR MAGICAL ADVENTURE - Day 13

Monday 30th March 2009 - Port Angeles, Washington
This morning brought a light rain with it but I am sure it will clear up by the time we get to Cape Flattery which is the most Northern Point of America on this coastline. We arrived after a 2 hour drive and then a 1/2 hr walk and boy was the view worth it - spectacular. It was still raining slightly as we headed off on the walk to the point, but nothing to stop us from going. Our trip really has been magical to date and the weather hasn't stopped us from doing anything we have really wanted to. All I can say is how much how life has changed in the past 18months and here we are living one of our dreams.
I really have been amazed by the landscape in America - I really just did not expect this beauty. The other noticeable thing is the police enforcement or more to the point revenue building - you just don't see radars or camera's. You do see the police pull somebody over ocassionaly and I guess it is for speeding but for the most part people seem to follow the road rules without the police enforcement. Talking of law enforcement, Jordan has been doing really well on the tick system and his listening has improved no end - just goes to show you how much they do actually ignore you even though they hear you!
Jordan earned another play at McDonalds when we got back from Cape Flattery so by the time we actually got back to our camp it was getting quite late. We cooked up a nice hot meal, watched a movie and then it was bed for all of us.
