OUR MAGICAL ADVENTURE - Day 25

Saturday 11th April 2009 - Bryce Canyon to Williams, Arizona
This morning we woke up to an unexpected visitor much to Jordan's delight - SNOW!!

The Red Canyon which we drove through yesterday looks so different, the deep reds are now softened with dustings of snow and it looks completely different although just as magical but not quite so dramatic.

Of course Jordan just had to get out and play in the snow and we had promised him yesterday that he could climb up the rock today - little did we know it would be dusted in snow!!

We have another long drive ahead of us today and driving South towards the Grand Canyon we crossed over the border from Utah into Arizona.

The Glen Canyon was spectacular with a huge dam and Hydro station crossing the river. I have noticed a difference in the housing now we are in Arizona, they seem to be more in line with Spanish housing designs with flat roofs.

 

Another McDonalds stop for Jordan to get rid of some of his excess energy after sitting in the RV for so long and then eventually arriving at the KOA camp around 9.30pm. For the 1^st time on this trip Jordan actually fell asleep and we just transferred him into bed.

Looking forward to seeing the Grand Canyon tomorrow morning.
