This morning we woke up to an unexpected visitor much to Jordan's delight - SNOW!!
The Red Ca nyon which we drove through yesterda y looks so different, the deep reds a re now softened with dustings of snow a nd it looks completely different a lthough just a s ma gica l but not quite so dra ma tic.
Of course Jordan just had to get out and play in the snow and we had promised him yesterday that he could climb up the rock today - little did we know it would be dusted in snow!!
Jordan and Paul at the top of the rock
We ha ve a nother long drive a hea d of us toda y a nd driving South towa rds the Gra nd Ca nyon we crossed over the border from Uta h into Arizona .
The Glen Ca nyon wa s specta cula r with a huge da m a nd Hydro sta tion crossing the river. I ha ve noticed a difference in the housing now we a re in Arizona , they seem to be more in line with Spa nish housing designs with fla t roofs.
Another McDona lds stop for Jorda n to get rid of some of his excess energy a fter sitting in the RV for so long a nd then eventua lly a rriving a t the KOA ca mp a round 9.30pm. For the 1st time on this trip Jorda n a ctua lly fell a sleep a nd we just tra nsferred him into bed.
Looking forwa rd to seeing the Gra nd Ca nyon tomorrow morning.
