OUR MAGICAL ADVENTURE - Day 26

Sunday 12th April 2009 - Williams to Las Vegas, California Easter Sunday
Jordan woke up with a big surprise - Easter Bunny had been during the night!! He thought he was going to have to share them when he saw 3 eggs but after a little investigation found the basket had "his" name on it much to his delight. He didn't like the yellow one (white chocolate) which suits mummy just fine because she loves white chocolate but his wishes came true for the next 2 as they were milk chocolate and he loved them. After a nice warm breakfast of Oats, the other 2 easter eggs were soon demolished - What else would you expect......
AND another ducky "Easter Duck" as he has been aptly named

After breakfast and eating the easter eggs we sat down and made some Easter Magnets
which Daddy put up on the Rangehood.
We have decided not to stay the 2nd night here as Paul really wants to see Death Valley which means driving to Las Vegas today after the Grand Canyon. It will be a long drive but Paul is willing to do it in order to fit in Death Valley. So off to the Grand Canyon we head with more sightings of snow. It really amazes me that we are in a desert and seeing snow - the 2 just don't seem to go together in my mind!! We parked the RV and set off for the southern rim of the Grand Canyon. Of course there was s a snowball fight along the way - boys against mummy - what else would it be! Because the Grand Canyon is so big, I think it lost some of the effect. No doubt it would be amazing if you went down on Donkey or did a helicopter ride but I must say I didn't find it anywhere near as awesome as I expected. Bryce Canyon had way more of an effect on me. So rather than hang around (the walk along the rim took about 1 1/2 hrs) we decided to head off to Vegas and the bright lights. Now driving into Vegas at night - this was spectacular!
