MUMMY FRIENDLY SNACKS

Do you feel like all you do some days is prepare food for growing little tummies...... Jordan eats more than I do most days but he is a grazer so sometimes I feel like I spend the whole day in the kitchen. Well, problem solved as today I tried out this idea (not sure where I saw it) and it is fantastic. I put all Jordan's snacks in a muffin tin tray and then popped it in the fridge so he could eat from it whenever he is hungry - I don't want to stop his grazing as I think it is us adults who have it wrong and have learnt to go against nature by teaching ourselves to eat at specified mealtimes rather than listening to what our body tells us.
I am very fortunate to have a little boy who loves his food and so after eating most of the above for snacks throughout the morning he then sat down to eat most of his lunch as well.
Later in the afternoon Paul joined us when we headed out to buy a couple of things so we took the opportunity to have a coffee & muffin and enjoy the lovely afternoon.
Being a monster while we waited for our drinks & muffin No more photo's !! but mummy sneaked one in........

  2. It can be hit or miss on how much Jordan eats in the evening sometimes, as he seems to get really hungry around 4.00pm and I made a decision to go with it. His evening meal is the same as ours anyway so if he doesn't eat it, just means I have a meal to serve him the next day :-)
